Very attractive and totally authentic 1930’s Art Deco French bakelite clock by Jaz clock company . Excellent overall condition for this rare 1936 JAZZ "Luxe" model SYLVIC mechanical alarm clock, featuring a mahogany-colored Bakelite case and a manual-wind mechanical movement; very fine cosmetic condition; an elegant clock with a quintessential Art Deco design, thick glass, and a chrome-plated steel bezel; dial features luminous hands and hour markers, marked "JAZZ Silencieux" . The dial is particularly noteworthy of how blemish free it is. The dial hands are also excellent condition and free from discolour or corrosion. It keeps very good time having been professionally serviced by a fully qualified horologist.The alarm aspect of the clock works perfectly too. Fabulous timepiece.
